The death of Mrs. Otto Kiesau took place last Thursday, Oct. 20, at her home in Ludlow township. She had suffered for some time from diebetes [sic] but death came rather sudden and unexpectedly.
The deceased, Mary Helen Kreuger, was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Kreuger. She was aged 42 years, 5 months and 16 days; and was born in Ludlow township.
She is survived by her husband, daughter and three sons, also by her parents and sisters and brothers. She was a most estimable woman and her death is sincerely mourned by all who knew her.
The funeral was held Sunday afternoon, services at the Ludlow Reformed church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. K.J. Stuebbe, and interment in the cemetery there. The love and esteem in which this good woman was held was evidenced by the large crowd which paid their last respects to her, there being 145 cars in the procession.
