Mrs. A. C. Hagemeier received word Monday that her sister, Mrs. John Raymond of Waukon, had died at the home of a son in Omaha after a brief illness. Mrs. Raymond went to Omaha about two weeks ago for a visit and was taken ill while there. The remains were brought back to Waukon for burial. Mr. and Mrs. Hagemeier went down to attend the funeral.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Mary who was born in 1840 and died Feb. 17, 1911. She is buried in Oakland Cemetery.
