Died, Margaret Naomi Clark, born in the State of Illinois, June 11, 1843, the youngest daughter of John S. and Mary Clark. Her parents came to Iowa in the early days, being among the first settlers in Franklin township, Allamakee county. she shared the deprivations of the pioneers of this country.

Miss Clark passed from earth March 6, 1923. She was the last survivor of her father's family.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Van Nice, Wednesday, March 7, and burial at Smithfield.
