The life of Annie, a little daughter of Mr. Ed. Rooth*, of South Lansing, is slowly but surely ebbing away with that dread destroyer consumption. Her life, while it lasts, should be made a pleasant and comfortable as possible and attention from some of our kind hearted citizens will help to do it. You all know the poor child's lonely and unfortunate circumstances. Let your hearts and hands go out toward her and you will feel the better for it.

P.S. - Since writing the above we have received notice of the death of little Annie. The funeral takes place from the Episcopal church this afternoon at 4 o'clock.

Her father's obit (which does not mention her) has also been posted.
