DIED - Mrs. Mary A. Ruth, wife of Edward Ruth, Jr., a very amiable, christian lady of this city, died last Saturday morning, after a brief illness; aged 37 years.
She was a kind and affectionate mother, and leaves behind her a weeping, lonely husband and three little children.
The deceased was a faithful member of the Episcopal church, and we have often heard it remarked that if there ever was a true, christian woman in this world, she was one.
Her funeral took place yesterday. An appropriate sermon will be preached by the pastor, Rev. James Allen, at St. Lukes church, next Sabbath morning.
