This community was greatly shocked to learn of the death, on Saturday last, at his home near Devil's Lake, Dak., of Louis Housman, a young man born and raised in Lansing, one who has made an excellent start in life, and who has hosts of friends here and wherever known. Typhoid fever was the cause of death.

Louis located in Dakota some years ago, engaging in the business of buying and selling horses, making frequent visits to this county for that purpose. He was but 27 years of age at the time of his death.

The body was brought here on the early train Monday, and interment was had at [the place is blank in the obit, records show Oak Hill cemetery].

Several brothers and sisters besides his heartbroken parents, are left to mourn the loss of one greatly beloved.
