L-R: Roy E. Smith, Alberta Mae 'Berty' Brown, and my father, A. Delver Erling Johnson.

I highly suspect the photo is of my parent's wedding day. They were married Feb. 17, 1940, at Waukon, Iowa, by Judge Hermanson.
The best man was Roy Smith, bridesmaid was Berty Brown (later Smith). The picture was probably taken by my mother. No other pictures from my parent's wedding day exist. Roy E. Smith and Alberta Brown were married in Nov. of 1940. The Smith's and my parents were very good friends, they farmed pretty close together.
