Edith Pearl Wallace, daughter of Jared T. and Mary L. Wallace was born September 15, 1873 at Hardin, Iowa, and died May 20th, 1922 at the age of 48 years, 8 months and [?] days. She lived her entire life in this community except for a short time in Nebraska.

In 1890 she was united in marriage to Victor Bray; to this union there was born eight children, two of whom, Agnes and Lavern proceeded her in death.

She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband and six children, Ethel (Mrs. R.J. Schlitter), Glen, Hazel, Lyle, Maudie and Bessie, and 4 grand children, two sisters Mrs. C.H. Marble and Mrs. Hugh Beetam of Galena, Illinois, and one brother Albert of Dubuque, and a host of neighbors and friends. She was a loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed by all.

Her funeral services were held from her home at Sixteen last Monday, the Rev. J.B. Ackman of Monona officiating.
