BRIGHT YOUNG LIFE ENDED
The home of Mr. and Mrs. John Spiegler was saddened Tuesday morning Oct. 23, by the death of their daughter, Dorothy Mae, who passed away at the New Albin hospital after a lingering illness of diabetes. The best of medical skill and loving care were given to prolong her life, but they proved unsuccessful and the final summons came on the above mentioned date.

Dorothy was born May 14, 1921. Beside her parents, she is survived by one sister, Arvilla, and a little brother, Glenn.

The funeral took place Friday afternoon from St. Luke's Ev. Church, Rev. Klein officiating. A large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends followed the remains to the cemetery and there, all that was earthly of little Dorothy was laid in a silent resting place where the white snows of winter will soon gently fold a spotless covering o'er her and when time brings back fair spring and summer sweet the flowers will bloom over her grave.

The sympathy of all friends and relatives goes out to the bereaved parents in their hour of sorrow.
She has left us, our darling child.

Gone to her eternal rest;
It was hard for us to love her,

But surely God knows best.
And although her chair is empty,

And although her voice is still,
We are trying to remember

'Twas our Heavenly Father's will.
