WAUKON - News was received here Sunday of the death of Mrs. H.H. Turner at Gladstone, Mich. This is the second death in this pioneer family within a week. Another sister, Miss Emma Townsend, 90, died here May 11. Mrs. Turner was born at Waukon, Oct. 1, 1868. August 16, 1901, she was married to Herbert Turner. The last ten years their home has been at Gladstone. Besides her husband she is survived by three brothers and a sister, Will Townsend of Eckleson, N.D., Herbert and Dudley Townsend and Mrs. Lafe Bigelow of Waukon.

Note: Search a grave records indicate Grace Turner was born in 1869, the daughter of John A. and Ruth (Huestis) Townsend. She is interred in Riverside Cemetery at Stoughton, Wisconsin.
