Waukon, Ia - Services for Clarence Schmeiden, 53, a native of Waukon, were at Minneapolis. Schmeiden died Wednesday at his home there.

He was born on a farm east of Waukon, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schmeiden. He grew to manhood on the farm, but for a number of years had made his home in Minneapolis.

Surviving are his wife; his mother; a daughter, Dorothy; a brother, Victor, and four sisters - Mrs. Edna Prestemon, of Minneapolis, Mrs. Alice Sandry, Mrs. Luella Knutson and Mrs. Lester Ness, all of near Waukon.
