Linda L. Honn, 55, of rural Waukon, died Tuesday in Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse, Wis., of injuries suffered Monday afternoon in an automobile accident near Waukon. Services: 1:30 p.m. Friday, Salem United Church of Christ. Burial: Salem Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at Martin Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband, Meryle, a son, David of Minneapolis; a daughter, Nancy Hager of Caledonia, Minn.; and three sisters, Marietta Flage of Gainesville, Fla., Lorna Peoples of Springfield, Va., and Alice Bulman of Waukon.

Waukon woman killed in crash
DECORAH – A Waukon driver was killed Monday when her out-of-control van wound up crosswise in the opposite lane and was struck broadside by a car, just east of Decorah on Highway 9.
Linda Lou Honn, 55, suffered injuries to her upper torso and head in the 5:20 p.m. accident.
She was taken by ambulance to Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital and transferred to La Crosse, Wis., Lutheran Hospital, where she died.
The driver of the car, Geneva Rose Becker, 70, of Cresco, is listed in satisfactory condition in the Decorah hospital.
The van and car sustained $8,000 and $14,000 damage, respectively.
