WAUKON PIONEER DIES

Waukon, Iowa, April 16 - Halvor Simonson, age 68 years died at his home at Brandon, N.D. He was a pioneer business man of this city and for many years was associated with A.B Clarke in the blacksmith business.

DOD: April 3, 1914
Note:A gravestone search determines the name is spelled incorrectly in the obituary. Holver Simenson was born in Norway, the son of Ole and Anna (Olesdotter) Simenson. He was married to Gustava Larson.
