Mrs. Mullaney, Retired C.R. Teacher, is Dead

Mrs. James Mullaney, a teacher in Cedar Rapids junior high school for 26 years, died in Waukon Tuesday following a long illness.

Born on a farm near Waukon Sept. 25, 1877, she was married in 1912 at Minneapolis. Her husband died in 1918.

Following his death, Mrs. Mullaney taught at Sioux City and Minneapolis and then came to Cedar Rapids. She retired there nine years ago because of failing health and had lived in the Waukon area since that time.

She is survived by two sisters and a brother, all of the Waukon area.

Services will be conducted at St. Patrick's church Friday morning. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet cemetery at Waukon.
