Funeral services for Anna Gjefle, resident of the Waukon vicinity for 75 years, will be conducted Wednesday at the West Paint Creek church by the Rev. J.B. Unseth. Burial will be in the nearby cemetery with the six sons as pallbearers. Born in Norway Sept. 10, 1861, she came here with her parents in 1867. On Jan. 17, 1881, she was married to Erick Gjefle, who died in 1927. She is survived by 12 children; Oluf, Louis, Otto, Theodore, Emil and Melvin, Mrs. Clinton Kelly and Mrs. Tennis Thorstenson of Fargo, N.D., Mrs. Earl Kruse of Dubuque and Mrs. Enoch Mork of Luana; two sisters and two brothers; 30 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
