Funeral services were held Wednesday for Ole Stadsvold, lifelong resident of this vicinity, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ludvig Larson, following a four month illness. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Soren Stadsvold, he was born on a farm south of Waukon, Jan. 22, 1858. In 1892 he was married to Mary Saewert, who with their two children, Gilmore Stadsvold, Jefferson township and Mrs. Ludvig Larson, Waukon, survives. Funeral services were held at the West Paint Creek church, conducted by A.P. Lea.
