EGBERT HALE EWING 1867-1944

Funeral services for Egbert Ewing, 77, of Jefferson twp. were held Friday afternoon at the Rossville Presbyterian Church. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Ewing, born in Indiana February 28, 1867. The family came to this vicinity many years ago where he had since lived. Surviving is an only daughter, Violet, also 2 brothers, Austin of Waukon and Lafayette of Postville and 2 sisters, Mrs. Hattie Haslip of Minneapolis and Mrs. Alice Paul of Mason City. His wife preceded him in death several years ago.
