Waukon, Ia, May 14 - John White, a well known stock buyer, died at his home in this city after an illness of nearly a year caused from paralysis.

He was born in Roscommon county, Ireland, and came here 45 years ago and had been a resident of this county since that time.

He was married 45 years ago to Miss Mary Ann McCroden and to this union were born 13 children, all but three of whom are living.

The surviving children are Michael, Hugh, James, Mary, Emmet, Ella, Florence, Edward, William and Leo, all of whom reside in this vicinity, except Emmet of Canada and Miss Florence of California.
