Patrick Bowen, age 87, was born in Ireland in the year 1838, coming to this country with his parents about 75 years ago.

He was married to Mrs. Susan Johnson in the year 1874, and to this union there were born three sons, namely, Frank B. Bowen of Milwaukee, Wis., Delbert J., at home, Joseph M., of Camp Douglass, Wis.; four step children, Mrs. G.G. Huffman, Nashua, Iowa; Mrs. Violet Gallager, McGregor; Mrs. Letha Bennett, Waukon Junction, Iowa; and Mrs. Jessie Schmidt at home. He also leaves one brother, Thomas Bowen of St. Paul, Minn.

Waukon, Ia., Dec. 10 - Patrick Bowen of Waukon Junction, died at his home after a few weeks' illness. He is survived by his aged widow, who is very low, and a family of grown children.

One son, Frank Bowen, was in the cigar business in Waukon about twenty years ago.

The funeral will be held at his late home and Rev. Paul Krebs of Waukon will conduct the services.
