EMIL L. FISCHER 1901-1966

Funeral services were held at St. John's Lutheran Church, Jefferson, Wisconsin on Wednesday, February 2, 1966, for Emil L. Fischer, who died Monday, January 31, at Jefferson. The rites were conducted by the Rev. R. W. Mueller. Burial was at Postville cemetery on February 3, 1966.

Emil L. Fischer was born July 13, 1901 at Clermont [to William Henry Fischer and Marie Louisa Schroeder]. He died Monday, January 31, 1966 at 7:00 a.m. at Fort Atkinson hospital at Jefferson, Wisconsin.

He was married to Evelyn Gephart on April 25, 1929. He lived in the Castalia area some years ago. For the past 16 years he had operated a garage at Jefferson. He was preceded in death by his wife on January 13, 1956, and three brothers and a sister. Surviving are two sons, John and Richard Fischer of Jefferson; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Lundt of Postville, Mrs. Wm. Schave of Castalia, and Mrs. Harley Fuller of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; two brothers, William of Lake of Koshkonong, Wisconsin and Henry of Ossian; and six grandchildren.
