Edna Ehrhart, age 79, of Burlington, Iowa, died Thursday, April 22, 2004, at Great River Medical Center, West Burlington. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 24, at Prugh's Chapel with Rev. Bill Porter officiating,. Burial was in Burlington Memorial Park. Prugh Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.

Edna Minnie was born November 15, 1924, in Waukon, the daughter of Freeman Herman and Minnie Reutkmeier Becktel.

She married Laverne Adolph in Waukon. She later married LaMar Ehrhart on September 16, 1976, in Biggsville, Ill.

Edna worked at IAAP Production for 29 years. She enjoyed crocheting, flower gardening, traveling, time spent on the river boats, and was a member of Eagles Lodge in Burlington.

Survivors include three daughters, Cathy Gilpin of Pella, Iowa, Patricia Rice, of Burlington, and Diane Whitmore of Carman, Ill.; two sons, Randall Adolph of Burke, Va., and Thomas Adolph of Gladstone, Ill.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Laverne Adolph on January 18, 1996, and LaMar J. Ehrhart on January 2, 1983; her parents; one son; one brother; and one sister.

A memorial has been established in her name.
