-John Trayer, Jr. of Lansing, was killed instantly by the accidental discharge of a gun Tuesday of last week. He pulled the gun toward him, muzzle foremost, the trigger was snapped and the charge entered his head.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in the Gethsemane Cemetery and that he was born Aug. 30, 1878 and died April 9, 1902.
