MRS. WM. BLANDOW
Died, at her home in Chicago, Friday, August 11, Mrs. Wm. Blandow.
Carrie R. Pape was born in this city Sept. 12, 1864. She was educated in the Lansing public schools and at the Rockford, Ills., Seminary. In the fall of 1894 she was married to Wm. Blandow and moved to Chicago, which was her home until summoned by the Master. She leaves to mourn her death her husband and son Wilbur, her brother G. L. Pape, of Chicago, and one sister, Mrs. Amelia Bacon, of Harmony, Minn., all of whom were present at the funeral, also a niece, Mrs. Harry Gorman of Madison, Wis.
The remains arrived Monday morning and were buried from the Presbyterian church, Rev. Kegel officiating, and interment in Oak Hill cemetery beside her parents, five sisters and one brother.
Deceased is reputed to have been worth $100,000.00, having inherited most of I. H. Pape estate for taking care of her mother for 35 years.
