Rites Held For Mrs. John Gordon

Christina Willman Gordon daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Willman, was born September 8, 1868 at Garnavillo, Iowa. She died at her home in Postville on Wednesday May 1, 1957 at the age of 88 years. On September 12, 1928 Christina Willman was married to John Gordon at Waukon.

Mrs. Gordon lived most of her life in and near Postville with the exception of eight years when she resided in Mason City.

She was preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers and sisters.

Her husband John Gordon survives.

Mrs. Gordon formerly attended the Community Presbyterian Church in Postville.

Funeral services were held at the Schutte Funeral Home Friday, May 3, 1957 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Walter T. Martin in charge of the rites. Burial was in the Postville cemetery.
