Waukon, Ia., -Special: Funeral arrangements were being made here Tuesday for Mrs. Lawrence Jeide, 26, who died suddenly Monday afternoon at a local hospital following an operation performed last Thursday.

As Mildred Fogt, she was born in Ludlow township on Jan. 19, 1910, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Fogt. She received her education in the rural schools and at the Waukon public school. In 1935 she was married to Mr. Jeide, a young farmer living on highway No. 9 just west of Waukon. A son, seven months old, was born to the union.

Besides her husband and baby, she is survived by her parents; a sister, Mrs. Clarence Hoth of Postville; and a brother, Elmer Fogt of Waukon. She was a member of the Zion Reformed church of Waukon.
