Waukon, Ia.-Special: Funeral services for Conrad Kruger, 86, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Zalmona Presbyterian church in Ludlow township with the Rev. George Uhden, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the family lot in the nearby cemetery.
Mr. Kruger died Saturday at his home following a long illness. He was born in Germany on Jan. 24, 1850, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kruger. When a young boy, he came to this country and settled on a farm in Ludlow township.
On March 7, 1877 he was married to Wilhelmina Flage and to this union 13 children were born. Mrs. Kruger died March 8, 1929. Three children preceded him in death.
He is survived by the following children: Mrs. John Meier of Waukon, Mrs. Henry Kiesau, Mrs. Edward Helming, Mrs. Thomas Ludeking, Alvin, John, Henry, Edward, Paul and Arthur Kruger, all of Ludlow.
