Ludlow Man Is Called By Death
(Special to the Times-Journal) Waukon, Ia., Jan. 16- Conrad Ludwick Ludeking whose death occurred Wednesday at the age of 80 years and one day, was born in 1840 in Lippe Detmoid, Germany. He came to America in 1866 to Ludlow township which has since been his home.He was married to Minnie Helming on Dec. 24, 1869 and the union was blessed with ten children of whom three preceded him in death. He is survived by his aged wife and seven children, Mrs. Mary Winke, Mrs. Ida Kiesau, John, Edward, Albert, all of Ludlow township. Paul of Union Prairie township and Miss Anna at home. He was one of the consistory of the church for twelve years. Mr. and Mrs. Ludeking celebrated their golden wedding on Dec. 24, 1919. He was made very happy on the 5th of January when he received a letter from his sister in Germany.
