Paul Ludeking Stricken at 77.
Dakota, Ill. (Special)- Paul Ludeking,77, retired area farmer, died yesterday at Freeport Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born June 25, 1885, in Waukon, Ia., the son of Conrad and Wilhelmina Henning Ludeking. He and Anna Welling were married Dec. 9, 1914 in rural Dakota. They continued to reside in the county after retirement.

Mr. Ludeking was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Epplyanna. Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Elnora) Kaiser, Dakota, and Mrs. Ralph (Berneta) Toelke, Rock City; two brothers, Albert, Baxter Ia., and Edward, Waukon, Ia.; a sister, Mrs. Ida Kiesau, also of Waukon, and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert, two sisters and a brother.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in St. Paul's church, with Rev. A.C. Onasch officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's cemetery. Friends may call at the Myers funeral home in Dakota after 2 p.m. tomorrow and until noon on Friday and then at the church. A prayer service will be at 8 tomorrow night at the funeral home.
