Conrad Fiet Dies in Allamakee Co.

Waukon, Ia., Jan. 25 -Special;
Conrad Fiet, 76, died at his home in Ludlow Township last Thursday, January 21. He is survived by his wife, three daughters; Mrs. Ed Stock; Mrs. Ed Ludeking and Martha; five sons John, Ed, Albert, Paul, and Walter.

Funeral services were held at South Bethlehem Church Sunday, conducted by Rev. Wiedman, with burial in Bethlehem Cemetery.

Conrad Fiet, 76, one of the pioneer farmers in Ludlow township, died Thursday, after a long illness. He came from Germany with his parents at the age of two years to the United States and they settled down at Sheboygan, Wis., where he spent his childhood days. At the age of 15 he came to Allamakee county.

July 8, 1885, he was united in marriage with Miss Caroline Flage.

He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Minnie Stock, Mrs. Mary Ludeking and Martha Feit; and five sons, John, Edward, Albert, Paul and Walter, all of Allamakee county.

There are also 12 grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Helen Klein of Ludlow.

The funeral ceremonies were held on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the home and then to Bethlehem church. The burial took place at the Bethlehem cemetery in Ludlow.
