Waukon, Ia. - Funeral services for Curtis Ralston, six-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Ralston, were held Sunday afternoon at the Presbyterian Church at Rossville with the Rev. R.L. Van Nice officiating. Burial was in the Smithfield Cemetery.
The child died Friday evening at a LaCrosse hospital following an emergency appendectomy.

Curtis Ralston, 6 1/2 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl (Phoena Evans) Ralston died Friday of peritonitis following a ruptured appendix operation. Besides the parents there are eight children who survive.

DOD: August 11, 1939He was born on a farm in Jefferson Township, Allamakee County, on Jan. 19, 1933.
Surviving are his parents, five sisters: Helen, Beulah, Marjorie, Roberta and Lucille; three brothers: Gerald, Dale and infant brother, all at home; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Ralston and Mrs. Abe Evans, all of Waukon.
