Wayne Sadler Rites Monday
Funeral services were held Monday, June 10 at 3 pm. from Martin funeral home in Waukon for Wayne Sadler, 78, of Dorchester, who died Friday, June 7 in Prairie du Chien Memorial hospital in Prairie du Chien, Wis.
The Rev. C. Kent Wever officiated and interment was in the Mt. Hope cemetery. Delbert Bulman, Loren Bulman, George Beardmore, Glenn Beardmore, Raymond Sires and Dale Reiser were pallbearers.
Mr. Sadler was a son of Joe and Laura Beardmore Sadler and was born Aug. 10, 1895 in Allamakee county. He attended the local schools and was employed as a farm laborer. He never married.
Surviving are a sister Mrs. Russell (Bliss) Roberts of Waukon, and a brother Urban Sadler of Postville.
