Waukon, Ia. - Funeral services for Halvor Hermanson, 66, who died of a heart attack while asleep Saturday morning, were held at the Old East Paint Creek church Wednesday afternoon. The Rev. W. C. Johnson officiated, and burial was in the nearby cemetery.
Mr. Hermanson was the son of Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Hermanson, and was born on the farm on which he died.
He is survived by his wife, the former Inga Knutson; two sons, Arden, at home, and Roy, with the armed forces overseas; three brothers, Lou Hermanson, Waukon, Henry Hermanson, of near St. Paul, Minn., and Herman Hermanson, of Maddock, S.D.; and three sisters, Mrs. Leonard Tysland, Madison, S.D., Mrs. C. W. Heberling, Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs. Inger Kolsrud, Berkley, Calif.
