Mildred M. Daniels, age 79, of Waterloo, Iowa died Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo of natural causes. Funeral services were held Friday, December 31, 2004 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Waterloo. Burial was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery also in Waterloo.

Mildred was born November 22, 1925 to Joseph and Thelma (Moen) Skaim on her parents farm near Waukon, Iowa. Following the death of her father when she was 12 years old, her mother married Leonard Larson. Mildred married Robert Daniels on January 5, 1947 at Pontoppidan Lutheran Church rural Decorah, Iowa.

She is survived by her husband Robert Daniels of Waterloo; three sons Larry (Linda) Daniels, Dennis (Barb) Daniels, and Tommy (Mary) Daniels, all of Waterloo; ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; four brothers Harry Larson, Clark Larson, Daryl Larson, and David Larson and eight sisters Jan Lein, Thelma Sampson, Gladys Howe, Lorraine Wright, Markie Lickteig, Adeline Jensen, Anna Marie Ewing, and Darlene Klein.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
