Leonette A. "Lee" Frost, age 78, of LaCrosse, Wisconsin died Saturday, December 18, 2004 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center. Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 22 at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of LaCrosse with Rev. J. Taylor Haley officiating. Entombment took place at the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum in Woodlawn Cemetery, LaCrosse, Wisconsin.

Leonette was born in Rossville, Iowa on August 7, 1926 to Alfred and Jettie (Beall) Pederson. Lee lived in Rossville until graduating from high school when she moved to LaCrosse where she began working as a candy dipper at the Sweet Shop where she worked for 36 years before retiring. Lee married Jack Frost September 14, 1946 at Bethel Lutheran Church in LaCrosse. Jack and Lee lived a very full life together. They enjoyed such leisure time activities as boating on the Mississippi River from their cottage in Trempealeau, Wisconsin to snowmobiling in the winter as far away as West Yellowstone Park in Montana. Having spent vacations in Florida for years, they finally bought a home in Bonita Springs in 1988. After Jack's retirement in 1990, they spent their winters there until 2002 when health problems prevented them from traveling so far.

Lee was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1530 Auxiliary and the Eagles Auxiliary.
She will be sadly missed by her family and her many friends who all loved her very much.

Leonette is survived by her husband Jack; one son Richard (Sharon) Frost of LaCrosse; one daughter Nancy (Al) Peaslee of LaCrosse; four grandchildren, Bryan (Theresa) Frost, Michael Frost, Sarah Frost, and Karie Finn; a step-son Zane Peaslee and very special people in her life, the family of the late Vernon Triplett which includes his wife, JoAnn and their children Trisha (Brian) Miller and Tami Triplett.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Alfreda Hamilton and Alfretta Pederson, who died at birth, and one brother Wendell Pederson.
