Elsie Schroeder Dies Friday At Waukon Hospital

Elsie O. Schroeder of Waukon died Friday, April 2 at Veterans Memorial Hospital. She was 75.

She was the daughter of Henry and Louise Saak Schroeder and was born Sept. 14, 1906 in Allamakee county. She attended local schools and was employed for many years by the Autolite Corporation of LaCrosse, WI.

She is survived by a sister Mrs. Martha Goebel of Harpers Ferry, and she was predeceased by a brother Erven and a sister Stella.

The Rev. Robert Lueck conducted funeral services at Martin funeral home Monday, April 5 at 1 p.m. Burial was in the Zalmona Presbyterian church cemetery. Pallbearers were Ray Burroughs, Robert O. Anderson, Dr. Alden Wiley, Curtis Piggott, Henry Seibert and Nathan Hager.
