Cherry Mound - Joseph Geller, who was born Jan. 11, 1854 near Mineral Point, Wis., died recently at the home of his niece, Mrs. Thomas Baker of Cherry Mound.

He leaves the example of a patient honest and uncomplaining life behind, and his place in St. Pius' church were he served for so many years will be hard to fill.

His sister, Mrs. Dan Fahy, prceded him in death two years ago. He is survived by a brother, John Geller of Ashton, Iowa and the following nieces and nephews: Mrs. Thomas Baker of Cherry Mound; Mrs. Al Beoudoin and John Fahy, Chicago and Fred Fahy of Timer Lake, S.D.

The funeral ws held at Cherry Mound, the pastor, Rev. Herbert Krieger celebrating the Mass of Requiem, and officiating at the graveside.

The pallbearers were Theodore Molilor, Leo Jones, Ray Leas, Wm. Dennison, Charles McCormick and JOhn Unterberger.

May the soul of this good man rest in peace.
