Pioneer Resident of Waukon Dies

Mr. James Farley, pioneer resident of Allamakee county, was called to rest May 7, after an illness of two months. He was born in New York and came with is parents to Iowa when a child. He lived the life of a successful farmer, was active in the affairs of the community and a devoted member of St. Patrick's Church, Waukon.

He leaves to mourn his parting his beloved wife and a family of eight children.

Funeral services were held at St. Patrick's church with a Solemn Mass of Requiem, Father Stuart celebrant, assisted by Fathers Nolan and O'Sullivan.
