Cherry Mound - Antone Walker passed away at his home near Cherry Mound, Ia., last Wednesday. He was born in Wisconsin on April 28, 1857 but moved to Allamakee county when he was but a boy.

He was married to Miss Kate Nicholson on June 8, 1881, who, with three children, Mrs. J.P. Larkin of Cherry Mound, Albert of Prairie du Chien and Edward at home, survive him. Three children died in infancy.

The funeral was held Friday morning from the home to St. Pius' Church, where Father D.J. Neenan, the pastor, officiated at a requiem Mass.
