Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 22 at 1:30 p.m. from Martin Brothers funeral home in Waukon for Mrs. Gabriel Pederson, 91, who died Tuesday, Sept. 19 in Waukon Veterans Memorial Hospital. The Rev. Ronald Brugger officiated and interment was in Waterville Lutheran cemetery. Ricky, Randy and Reg Rissman, Mark and Greg Pederson and Reid Johnson were casket bearers.

Ida Bryson was born Dec. 15, 1875 in Waterville and was a daughter of John S. and Tilda Rema Bryson. She was educated in the local schools and lived in Allamakee county all of her life. Aug. 31, 1895 she married Gabriel Pederson in Waterville. He preceded her in Death.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Ruth) McWilliams of Fresno, Calif., and Mrs. Herman (Alice) Haehlen of Port Charlotte, Fla., and three sons, John of Waterloo; Alfred of Del Ray Beach, Fla., and Victor of San Francisco, Calif. Twelve grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild also survive.

Two sons, Rolf and Lester, and three sisters, Margaret, Louise and Rhoda, and two brothers, James and John, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Pederson was a member of the Waterville Lutheran Church.
