On Friday evening, Nov. 25, 1960, the Angel of Death descended from his heavenly throne to touch and seal in everlasting sleep the eyes of a devoted mother and grandmother. Mrs. Mary Kubitz answered the call of her Creator and returned to His kingdom on the above mentioned date in the Community Hospital in Caledonia, Minn., following a week's illness of that baffling disease, pneumonia.

Possessed of a kindly disposition with strong home-loving propensities, she won the esteem and affection of a wide circle of friends. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, New Albin, W.S.C.S., and the Royal Neighbors, Mount Oneota Camp 2403, the latter attending the funeral as a group.
She is survived by six children, Mrs. John (Pearl) Kroack, new Albin; George, Dubuque; Edward, Waukon; Otto, New Albin; Mrs. L.V. (Florence) Irons, Charles City; and Arlie, New Albin.
