Nicholas Rouster, 84, New Albin, died Tuesday, June 21, in a Waukon nursing home.

He was a World War I veteran.

Survivors are a brother, Peter of New Albin; and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Lamb of La Crosse, WI.

Services were at 10 a.m. Thursday in New Albin Community Chapel, with Rev. Carl Manternach officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing, was in charge of arrangements.
