Leo S. Krieger, 79, a longtime Lansing businessman, died Friday, Jan. 2, at his home in Lansing.

He owned and operated Krieger's Variety Store, Lansing, for 40 years until his retirement.

Krieger was born May 30, 1896, in Lansing to Vincent and Gabriella Krieger. He was a veteran of World War I.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lansing. Rev. Nicholas Cigrand will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday at the Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing, with a wake scripture service at 7 p.m.
