Lawrence J. "Larry" Donovan, 38, New Albin, died of cancer on Saturday, July 28, 1984, in St. Francis Medical Center, La Crosse, WI.

He was born Oct. 8, 1945, in La Crosse to Herbert and Edna (Monner) Donovan.

Survivors are his mother of New Albin; six brothers, Roger, James, Kenneth and Patrick, all of Beloit, WI, Michael of La Crosse, and David of Stillwater, OK; and three sisters, Mona Hammel of Beloit, Sandra Osler of Decorah, and Barbara Donovan of Lansing.

He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Cathloic Church, New Albin. The Rev. Robert P. Rahe will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the New Albin Funeral Chapel today from 4 to 9 p.m., with a wake scripture service at 8 p.m.

The Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing, is in charge of arrangements.
