Lawrence Ryan, 73, of R.1, New Albin, died Friday, April 26, 1985, in St. Francis Medical Center, La Crosse, WI.

He was born Jan. 4, 1912, in rural New Albin, to Patrick and Mary (Fish) Ryan.

He never married. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors are five sisters, Gladys Ryan, Marguerite Gilbert, Esther K. Beeler, Loretta Spinner and Marion Hartley, all of New Albin.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, new Albin. The Rev. Robert P. Rahe will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the New Albin Funeral Chapel Monday from 4 to 9 p.m. There will be a prayers service at 9 p.m.

Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing, is in charge of arrangements.
