Walter B. Moore, 79, Lansing, died Thursday, June 3, in the Thornton Manor Nursing Home.

he was born July 7, 1902, in Allamakee County to Cornelius and Mary (Gabbett) Moore.

Survivors are two sons, Walter B. Jr. of Chicago, and James B. of Ferryville, WI; two daughters, Mary Alice of Chicago, and Ellen A. of Ferryville; six grandchildren; two brothers, Clement of Lansing, and Kenneth of New Albin; and one sisters, Florence Owens of Waterloo.

Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lansing, with the Rev. Francis Perry officiating, Graveside services and burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, New Albin, with the Rev. Linus Rasing officiating.

Friends may call at the Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing, today from 4 to 9 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 8 p.m.
