Services for Mrs. Lydia Kumpf were held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at St. John's Methodist Church, Dorchester, with the Rev. Clifford Isaacson officiating, Burial was in the Dorchester cemetery with Martin Bros. Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Kumpf passed away May 4th at Friendship Haven Rest Home, Fort Dodge, where she has been a resident. She had been in ill health for about 5 years.

Lydia Dresselhaus was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dresselhaus, and was born Oct. 17, 1885, in Union City Township. She was married on Jan. 19, 1911, at her home, to Fred Kumpf, who passed away a few years ago. There are no immediate survivors.
