Mrs. Arlie (Elizabeth M.) Gordon, 81, rural Lansing, died Tuesday, April 5, in Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waukon.

She was born on July 30, 1901, in Lansing to John and Katherine (Freilinger) Geinzer. She married Arlie Gordon on Sept. 4, 1939, in Lansing, and the couple farmed in rural Lansing.

Survivors are her husband; one son, James, of Lansing; four grandchildren; one brother, George Geinzer, of Lansing; and one sister, Mrs. Fred (Eda) Gordon, Waukon.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lansing. The Rev. Francis Perry will officiate and burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing, Friday from 2 to 9 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 9 p.m.
