Armin Luttchens, 75, New Albin, died Tuesday, March 15, in the Bethany-St. Joseph Health Care Center, La Crosse, WI.

He was born on May 13, 1907, in the town of Jefferson, MN (Houston County), to Otto M. and Matilda (Pohlman) Luttchens. He married Bertha Schuldt on Oct. 15, 1932.

The couple farmed in Jefferson. Luttchens was also a commercial fisherman prior to his retirement.

He had served on the St. Peter's United Church of Christ board in New Albin.

Survivors are his wife; one son, Elmer of New Albin; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one brother, Otto, of New Albin.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in St. peter's United Church of Christ, New Albin. The REv. Richard Waters will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the New Albin Chapel on Thursday after 4 p.m., and at the church on Friday from 1 p.m. until the services.

The Potter-Haugen Funeral Home, Caledonia, is in charge of arrangements.
