Charles T. Rouster, 80, a resident of the Allamakee County Care Facility, Waukon, and formerly of Lansing, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, in Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waukon.

He was born July 31, 1902, in New Albin to John T. and Gertrude (Freilinger) Rouster. he married Gerry Olson in 1934.

Survivors are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Chester (Darlene) Schlake of Waukon, Mrs. Allen (Mabel) Stahl of Lansing, and Mike (Lois) Conway of Harpers Ferry; seven grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Ann Hitchens of Tacoma, WA, and Mrs. Katherine Goodell of Waukon.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one son.

Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. and Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Lansing. The Rev. Terry Johnson will officiate and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing, today from 4 to 9 p.m., and at the church on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the services.
