Mr. Kivelehan died Tuesday morning, Dec. 1st, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Sara Kaufman.

Elkader Register, Thur., 10 Dec. 1903.

Thomas Kivelahan died Dec. 1st, 1903, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Sarah Kauffman. He was born in Sligo, Ireland, and graduated from Silgo College. After coming to America he was married to Miss Maria Ryan, in Cumberland, Maryland. He lived in Brownsville, Pennsylvania, for several years and from there he moved to Harper's Ferry, which was his home for fifty years. He has been bed ridden for seven years and four months at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Kauffman, having broken his hip by a fall. His sufferings have been severe during that time, but he was patient and ready when the Lord called him. The funeral was held in Harper's Ferry on Dec. 3rd, attended by a large crowd of his old friends. May his soul rest in peace.
